Khloe Kardashian's Ex Lamar Odom's Speech "Has Improved Dramatically," Khloe Kardashian Continues to Play Role in His Recovery

Lamar Odom is still on the mend.
"He is doing so much better," a source tells E! News. "His speech has improved dramatically. He still has a way to go, but his progress over the past month has been great."
Khloe Kardashian has continued to act as a support system for Lamar. "They are just so close right now," says a source. "If he is not in therapy, he is often with her."
Lamar and Khloe are trying to make sure they have dinner together every night, says a source, adding that no matter what their days entail, they make an effort to come together in the evenings.

Khloe talked about her close relationship with Lamar on Monday's episode o f The Ellen DeGeneres Show , and she reiterated that he's not going the route to recovery alone. "He's hung out with Kourt 's and [ Kim Kardashian ]'s kids. He loves family time," she said. "So, he's been doing really good. I think it makes him feel good to be around everyone, too, and to just be in a happy environment over obviously where he was."
Rob Kardashian, who is focusing on his own health now following a health scare and diabetes diagnosis, has also spent time with Lamar. The guys have taken comfort in each other, a source previously told E! News , adding that the men share "a lot of similar demons" regarding their sense of self-worth.

Lamar and Rob are both lucky in that they have a strong family support system, but as Khloe toldAndy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, it's up to them deal with their issues head-on. "People need to take accountability for their own problems," she explained. "I don't think other people deal with that."
