Fire takes over millions of naira worth of properties in Bayelsa.

Fire takes over millions of naira worth of properties  on Tuesday, at Yenizue-Egene, Bayelsa state beside  IDO OIL NIG LTD(fuel staion), between the hours of 12pm and 1pm. The fire was caused by electrical accident  in one of the shops, as the environment  is known for where varieties of goods are sold: Keke parts, foams, woods furnitures etc. Although many properties were destroyed but we thank God it did not spread to the fuel station, it would have been a case of volcanic eruption.


According to an eye witness, Adam First man "This afternoon when they brought light, not too long we saw smoke, by the time we rushed out, the fire had already taken over everywhere, no way to get in again. He said, the fire started in one of the shops where they sell woods, we called for fire service, before they came the fire had already taken over the whole place, and when they came it was just one vehircle, which is bad, it was suppose to be two to three vehircles. He said, everything got burnt both leaving houses."

Another eye witness, Micheal Okoye "we cried and cried, called for fire service, more than 45minutes they were not here, if they had come earlier it wouldn't have resulted to this.
The fire service should please put adequate water because when they came here the water did not get to anywhere. Please advice them to be ready at all time in case of immagency."
