Rio Ferdinand: ‘Pep signing for City has really messed up my day!’

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Rio Ferdinand has admitted the news of Pep Guardiola’s appointment as Man City boss had “ruined his day” on Twitter.

The former England centre-half, who helped United to win six Premier League titles and the Champions League during his 12 years at the club, led the reaction to the news on Monday.

Spaniard Guardiola will take from Manuel Pellegrini this summer when his contract with Bayern Munich comes to an end.
