Kate Winslet totally just admitted that she KILLED Leonardo DiCaprio!!! Okay, well, sort of. As every ‘Titanic’ fan has been saying for years, Jack definitely could have fit on that door with Kate after the ship went under…and Kate agrees! Watch her interview here.

Titanic writers and filmmakers clearly didn’t do a very convincing job with Leonardo DiCaprio’s final scene, because Kate Winslet and thousands of other fans are STILL not positive that his character, Jack, shouldn’t have died. Perhaps we’ll have to reunite these A-listers and film an alternate ending!?

“I agree, I think he could’ve actually fitted on that bit of door!” Kate admitted to Jimmy Kimmel on Feb. 1. Of course, she’s referring to the scene where Rose and Jack jump into the freezing cold ocean after the Titanic sinks, and she survives by floating on a door from the boat, while he freezes to death in her arms.

Fans have been saying for years that Jack could’ve fit on the door with Rose, and Kate clearly agrees!

The co-stars have remained close friends since the movie came out almost 20 years ago — Leo even walked her down the aisle at her wedding in 2012 — and they were even seated at the same table at the SAG Awards on Jan. 30. “People are always so excited to see Leo and myself in the same space, which, at the end of the day…that’s so lovely isn’t it?” Kate gushed. “It’s been 20 years and people still get such a kick out of it. It’s really quite endearing and we do love that. We were giggling about it last night.

Leo has famously never won an Academy Award, but after taking home the Golden Globe and SAG for his role in The Revenant, things are certainly looking promising for him this season. The 40-year-old has publicly went on record to share her support for her longtime friend, and proved it by

wrapping him in a HUGE embrace and planting a kiss on his cheek during the Jan. 30 show — we can’t wait to see how excited she is if he wins the Oscar!
