Davido made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with Channels Television’s Entertainment News.
The 23-year-old said that music giant, Sony Music BMG, which he recently signed a deal with, requires more time to ensure the album carries global appeal, as well as stage a successful global distribution of the project.
Responding to when the album would be released, the winner of BET Award for Best International Act said that “I am not sure yet (and) it might not even be this year”.
Davido, is an American-born Nigerian recording artist, performer and record producer, whose 2011 single ‘Dami Duro’ was well-received throughout Nigeria.
