Unless they want a backyard wedding, it looks like Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill will have to wait up to a year longer to tie the knot, because Meek was sentenced to house arrest on Feb. 5 after violating his probation. Here’s the scoop.

Nicki Minaj , 33, and Meek Mill , 28, have been teasing us about a wedding for months now, but whatever plans they may have are going to have to wait. Meek was sentenced to 6-12 months of house arrest on Feb. 5 after violating his probation in Nov.. Here’s what we know.

Nicki and Meek love to keep us guessing about when they’ll finally walk down the aisle , but on Feb. 5 they were left guessing when Meek would

be allowed to leave the house next! The rapper violated his probation stemming from a 2009 gun and drug charge when he accompanied Nicki to the American Music Awards in Nov., and now according to TMZ he’s finally been sentenced. Meek is lucky to be able to serve his time from home, because the Philadelphia judge gave him the time in a county jail. On top of not being able to leave the house, Meek also can’t work. He isn’t allowed to travel or perform, and he can’t release any new mixtapes . That means Drake will get a break from his frequent diss tracks .

Meek will serve a minimum of 90 days, according to TMZ . After that time, a judge will review his case and decide how much longer he has to serve. Clearly Meek hasn’t been great at following directionsso hopefully he can keep it together this time, so he can finally marry his gorgeous lady Nicki.
